Job Posting Details
The Hong Kong Association of Heads of Secondary Schools (HKAHSS) is hiring a Project Officer (Mathematics) to support the assessment for learning project. The main duties are to contribute to project research work; compose actionable assessment for learning test items in mathematics at senior secondary (DSE) school levels; work collaboratively with project team to compile and edit multimedia teaching materials of DSE mathematics; participate at professional development sessions on technology-enhanced assessment for learning item-setting.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mathematics, teaching mathematics experience at senior secondary school level preferred. The candidate should be familiar with the senior secondary mathematics curriculum, and proficient in setting assessment items on DSE mathematics. Candidates with up-to-date knowledge of information and communication technology, artificial intelligent; and a good understanding of diagnostic assessment in senior secondary mathematics will be an advantage. Proficiencies in Microsoft Office, formula editor for typesetting, word processing and publication of mathematical works or formulae, and Chinese characters input methods are expected. The candidate should also be proficient in both spoken and written Chinese and English.
The appointee will work at Tung Chung area, and work under full-time, self-employed, contract terms.
